What Users Say
While the chrome extension permissions are user-friendly, several users have raised concerns after the latest Chrome update. Some users like Eduardo Martinez and Roma Sunichuk mentioned that the extension stopped working after the update. However, users like Esteban and Chris Bonser believe that this is a must-have tool when working with Ember.
User Rasmus Schmidt recommended the tool for developing but also urged users to deactivate it when not in use to avoid visual errors.
Interestingly, Paul Wilmes updated his review to 5 stars after realizing that Ember Inspector's issues were related to Chrome and Firefox and not the extension itself since it worked in SlimJet. This signifies the importance of being aware of browser compatibility when using extensions.
Why Ember Inspector is Highly-rated
Ember Inspector's high rating can be attributed to its functionality, user-friendliness, and ability to enhance productivity during website development. Despite a few hiccups relating to the chrome extension download and update, users consider Ember Inspector as one of the best chrome extensions due to its versatility and efficacy.

12 Reviews For This Extension
Been using this for years, a great tool for productivity.
Without this addon we can't achieve our goal as fast.
I would give a 5 starts, but the last releases don't work in Chrome, if Application > Service Worker > Update on reload is enabled, in the dev tools. Is this intended behavior? Cheers!
Recent days Ember inspector is working only in incognito window not in normal window.
After the latest update Ember inspector tab is not found in the devtools it works on some profiles of the same browser I am using Chrome 119 All my team mates are facing the same issue please fix this soon Thanks
Latest update is unusable. Thanks for nothing.
Rarely works, unfortunately there's no alternative
Useful, but having access to data like models would help a bit more.
Must have when working with Ember,
Doesn't work after latest Chrome update
Awesome extension but doesn't work after last update.
It's an excellent tool for developing ember apps. BUT as it is implemented on every web-page it leads to visual errors on some. I noticed a navigation missing on a page I was visiting or other less dramatic appearance-changes. I recommend this tool for developing but also urge users to deactivate it when you are not developing.
